State Historical-Artistic Reserve Gobustan is a unique monument of world importance and in year of 2007 has been included to the UNESCO World Heritage List. There is an area of 537 hectares of concentrated testimonies of the inhabitants of the region of the Stone Age era and subsequent periods with rock paintings, the human lot, tombstones, etc.
Gobustan National Park: The archaeological side of Gobustan is very in with monuments. The reserve has more than 6,000 rock engravings dating back between 5,000 – 40,000 years. Visitors also view the remains of inhabited caves.
