Also in this village located the first Christian church in the Caucasus, which was built in the time of the Albanian Empire ( I Century AD). In the village of Kish also located an ancient defensive fortress “Gelersen – Gorersen”, which translated means "You will come and see." Also, there is a bust of the world famous traveler Thor Heyerdahl.

Sheki: is situated in northern Azerbaijan on the southern part of the Greater Caucasus mountain range, 325 km (202 mi) from Baku. The population is 63,000. Perhaps the best-known aspect of Sheki cooking is its rich sweet dishes. Sheki is traditionally held as the home of special type of baklava, called Sheki Halva.
