The cooperation between Latvia and Azerbaijan is moving to the next stage of development

On September 3, 2015, a newly appointed ambassador of the embassy of Latvia to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Yuris Maklakovs, second secretary of the Embassy of Latvia Mr. Maris Puck, head of Azerbaijan Health and Thermal Tourism Support Association Mr. Ruslan Guliyev, regional manager of Air Baltic Airlines Ms. Maria Radchenko, as well as other representatives of Latvia have visited the Millennium Tourism Lufthansa City Center and the Honorary Consulate of Montenegro .

The meeting covered already existing relations between Latvia and Azerbaijan in the field of tourism, its prospects, as well as the discussions with regard to the productive ideas for further mutual partnership between two countries. Moreover tour operators of both countries exchanged their experience and emphasized the key factors, which could increase the influx of tourists.

The ambassador of the embassy of Latvia to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Yuris Maklakovs emphasized the importance of tourism relations, as they can bring positive results to the development of country’s economical, cultural, political and other fields.

At the end of the meeting Mr. Juris Maklakovs and other guests wished Millennium Tourism company and Latvian tour operators success in their future endeavors.
